The cornerstone of our craft. Venetian plaster is a time-honoured Italian technique where multiple thin layers of natural lime-based plaster are applied by hand and burnished to create a finish of remarkable depth, subtle movement and a soft, luminous sheen reminiscent of polished marble.

A typical feature wall takes two to three days, depending on the finish chosen and the number of layers required. Larger projects such as full-room applications may take a week or more. We always provide a clear timeline during your consultation so there are no surprises.
Yes. When properly sealed with a high-quality wax or protective topcoat, Venetian plaster is highly moisture-resistant and perfectly suited to bathrooms, kitchens and other wet areas. We select the appropriate sealant for each environment to ensure lasting durability.
Polished plaster is significantly more durable than standard paint. It resists scuffs, marks and general wear far better, and a well-maintained plaster finish can last decades. Minor imperfections can be buffed out, and surfaces can be re-sealed periodically to maintain their appearance.
